Physical-world intelligence
Succura is a passive, edge-AI alerting platform for aging in place. It watches the common areas of the home for a possible fall, a call for help, or a change in the day’s usual rhythm — activity when there shouldn’t be, or none when there should — and works through a circle of family and friends — by call and text — until a real person responds. Nothing to wear. Nothing to press.
Why Succura is different
Life Alert waits for a button. Succura doesn’t. It watches the room so your parent doesn’t have to wear or press anything — and reaches real people the moment it matters.
The alert that works is the one nobody has to think about. Succura watches the common areas of the home — for a fall, a call for help, or an unusual break in the daily routine — with nothing to wear, nothing to charge, and nothing to press.
On an event, Succura works a contact tree of family and friends — by call and text, one after another — until someone acknowledges. More contacts make it more robust.
Inference runs on a device inside the home. Faces can be masked and video never leaves the house. Privacy isn’t a setting you switch on — it’s the design.
How it holds up
A device inside the home does the watching, so there’s no cloud camera feed to depend on. When an event happens, the escalation is deliberate, logged, and built to reach a human being.
How Succura works
Indoor cameras and on-device AI keep an eye on the common areas.
A possible fall, a call for help, or activity that’s out of the ordinary — including a quiet stretch when there’s usually movement.
Calls and texts your contacts, one at a time, until one responds.
A press-1 or a reply acknowledges — and the whole chain is logged.
